Print Code39 Barcodes from Desktop Printers. What is being observed is indicative of Code 39 Extended fonts being scanned with a scanner that does not have the Full/Extended ASCII (or similarly named) setting enabled on the scanner itself, which is a requirement to scan Code 39 Extended fonts.
